Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This is as good as it gets. La Dolce Vita is always a treat. i have been to this place maybe a dozen times since it opened a couple of years ago. The food has always been outstanding and the service has remained comsistently good. The only criticism I have is their very limited wine list. I always ask if they have fresh liver which is never listed in the menu. If they do, I order it because it's always flawlessly prepared. Last night's highlight was the pumpkin soup with shrimp. Dinner for four without dessert but with a $50 bottle of wine was about $200, which is not terrible fir the quality if food you get.

Best Italian restaurant in Broward County...No doubt...and we have searched beyond belief! If you are within an hour's drive and want a good Italian meal you need to go here. Don't even bother with other restaurants. Best Carbonara sauce I've ever had...ever...even considering meals in Italy. This place does truly authentic sauces and homemade pasta. Very fresh. The meals are not like any faux Italian restaurant typical of status quo (you know, the kind where the chef thinks throwing red sauce on a noodle is pasta excellence). My wife had a ribeye steak that was better than Morton's, and every bit as good as Timpano's. Seriously, there is no place we've been that would give a piece of meat better prepared, tender, and delicious as this. Tiramasu was amazing. Perfectly light and creamy. The servers speak Italian, which adds to the flair.

Fresh, homemade pasta, tasty salads, great staff. Innovative menu and the food was quite good, although a bit pricey. The wine list leans too heavily to the higher priced wines with a starting average greater than $50.00. Nice dining experience, although I would like to see the price level toned down.

Based on the other Yelp reviews, my wife and I were really looking forward to coming here. Our meal started out really well with the Polenta appetizer. My wife and I both loved it. Unfortunately the main course was not as impressive. I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered the gnocchi with red sauce. Both dishes were just ok. I felt like the dishes could of used more seasoning. I felt like I had better Italian at some local Italian chains.

La Dolce Vita is hands down the best Italian Restaurant in Ft Lauderdale. I have eaten here several times and the consistency and quality of the food is always excellent. The service is also very good. I highly recommend La Dolce Vita and cannot wait to return!

What an experience to have great authentic Italian Food at out doorstep. Not a trendy spot which is good but with impeccable service and world class cuisine Italiano!! This place caters to those who have traveled and desire the true flavors of Italy. The pastas are extraordinary the Bronzino tastes like I had it prepared in Italy. I had the grilled veal chop with mushrooms to die for. The best thing about this place besides the quality food is the warmth and love given by the staff and owners. Make a reservation and sit back knowing that you'll be cared for and served world class food with service bar none. This is my new broward fav spot !! Enjoy !!!
(5)Reagan S.
A completely wonderful dining experience. The service was helpful, attentive and the meal was perfectly paced. The food was outstanding. I defaulted to the lasagna because of recommendations and I liked the béchamel in the description. You don't see that often and it's authentic so I wanted to try it. It was remarkable. Seasoning was on point and the pasta was amazingly light and delicate unlike anything I've ever had before. Caprese appetizer was excellent. Fresh, tasty and simple. Very refreshing. I'll be sure to go back and try some other things I saw on the menu.

Best italian resto ever had !! Italian straight from Italy style! Wheyyy! Everything they make is awesome fish , steak , pasta , wtv all amazzing . Every bite the food sings on your pallet.
(5)Susan J.
Delicious truly Italian dinner! Smooth Chianti with warm crusty Italian bread for openers. The house salad was fresh and loaded with freshly shaved parmesan. Tonight's special was house-made spaghetti with porcini mushrooms in a black truffle sauce. Oh my! So good! Definitely a must!

This is a tough review to write. I've been to Dolce Vita several different times in the past year. I love how it is located on a quiet side street off if A1A. I also like the ambiance it is like you are in a friend's home. The service is definitely five stars all the way here. Every time I walk in Fabio and Christian walk up to me, shake my hand and greet me warmly. They'll chat with me like they've known me forever which I think is pretty cool. The owners and staff members are real deal Italians from Rome. I get a kick out of them conversing in Italian to each other. I usually sit at the bar as I hate making reservations and planning meals in advance lol. The bread they serve is just OK nothing special. There menu is small and limited which I think is a good thing. This means that generally the ingredients are fresher and the dishes are executed flawlessly on a consistent basis. I've found the food to be inconsistent which is plays into the three star rating. I've had the vitello in crosta di parmigiano (parmesan cheese encrusted veal chop) multiple times. The first time I had it my socks were knocked off. It was juicy and super flavorful. On the few other times I've had it, it was dry, over cooked or under seasoned. I've also had it where the chef got a little too heavy with the parmagiano cheese and totally changed the flavor profile of the dish. I've never really enjoyed the vegetable caponata that comes with it. It is too acidic for me personally. I've had the Rigatoni All'Amatriciana and found it to not be as flavorful as it should be. I've had it where the macaroni is way too firm and I've had it where the macaroni was perfectly firm. The Rigatoni Carbonara has been my favorite macaroni dish here. It is not too rich or too creamy. It is just right. They fry up the pancetta perfectly so that it has a nice crunch. I do love their risotto. It has by far been the most consistent item that I've had on the menu. Sadly they took it off the menu during the season and haven't had any risotto specials when I've visited during season. The Crudo & Burrata is a great appetizer to start with. The burrata cheese is so moist and creamy. I am a huge lover of Prosciutto Di Parma and it goes great with the burrata cheese here. My wife gets the lasagna here and she loves it. The tiramisu is brilliant here. It is one of my favorite ones around. It is always fresh and super moist. In conclusion I think that La Dolce Vita is a good Italian restaurant in the area. You can have a quiet and relaxed meal alone or with that special someone. I would much rather come here as opposed to the mediocre and subpar Italian restaurants that are found on every street corner. I am a fan of La Dolce Vita, however, I gave it a three star rating due to the food inconsistencies that I've experienced throughout my visits. The only thing left to say is arrivederci e grazie.

Great place for an intimate dinner. True authentic Italian restaurant. I took my parents out for my dad's birthday and they enjoyed their meal. My mom was disappointed that the only option for beverage was water and wine. My father and I did not mind, because we had both. My father's veal was cooked to perfection, moist, tender, and well seasoned. My Gnnochi was excellent; it tasted like it was made from scratch. My mother also enjoyed her chicken and vegetable dish. Tip: 1. If you plan on eating inside, make a reservation. My family and I weren informed since the restaurant was booked inside, we had to eat inside. 2. If your party is greater than 4, make a reservation. Just call ahead, the restaurant might not be able to accommodate due tho their seating arrangements.

The owner here, Fabio, is not messing around. These are some of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten. For what it's worth, my family is Italian and I have visited Italy on multiple occasions. I'd like to consider myself a pasta connoisseur. Despite being a little on the pricey side, it is well worth the occasional indulgence. Actually, it's so damn good I may increase the frequency of my visits from occasionally to often. What the hell, make it weekly. It's that good people. He only uses the best ingredients and serves up ample portions. Even though the pastas are listed under the primi section of the menu, they are certainly more than enough for a meal. I'd venture to guess he doesn't sell too many main course entrees here. Simply put, if you choose to pass up the pasta section, you are completely out of your mind. The Rigatoni Amatriciana was served perfectly al dente, and the red sauce base was complemented well by the smokiness of the pancetta and the addition of copious amounts of fresh cracked black pepper. Utterly ridiculous. The Gnocchi Tartufo were pillowy clouds of potato dumpling coated with a silky black truffle cream sauce and finished with bits of spicy salami. It was ethereal, dare I say, even orgasmic. This is the word that first comes to mind when trying to accurately describe my first bite. I thought I was about to uncontrollably reenact the famous scene from When Harry Met Sally myself. Although, I may not have gotten as many crazy looks as Meg Ryan, as the other diners in the restaurant would have most definitely understood the reason. Go. Here. Now.

Excellent dining experience all the way around. Family owned, homemade and delicious!

Miles and I dined here and it was Fabulous! The Service was polite and prompt. The atmosphere was peaceful and yet Happy! We will definitely return and will recommend to all to come here. Oh yes the Food! True Italian food! Excellent !! Great for vegetarians. Excellent wine. Nice to walk to.
(5)Vicki P.
Loved this restaurant. We were greeted warmly by Christian when we arrived. The polenta with truffle cream sauce was excellent. The rigatoni with fresh tomato sauce was delicious as well. And...the tiramisu was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend! Great service and ambiance.
(5)Amy Lyn D.
Excellent service and quality homemade pasta in this family-owned Italian restaurant. Started with some freshly baked bread that they order in. We ordered the mussels in a red sauce for $16 and gnocchi with truffle and salami sauce which was very rich ($22) and a homemade spaghetti with lamb ragu that was probably the favorite ($25). For dessert we had chocolate-covered mini cream puffs ($9). Nice wine selection and had two glasses of house red. Total bill was $97. If we lived here it would be a favorite!
(5)Jayson S.
The food here was awesome!! The service was good.. they were friendly and worked as a team. I havent had italian food in over 6 months.. not bc I don't enjoy Italian food.. but because of my strict diet as a bodybuilder. So my first meal after my competition.. i chose italian. I yelped it of course coming from out of town. I shared two entrees.. the lasagna and the truffle cream sauce home made spaghetti with sausage. They were both amazing!!

Wow! The least I could say is WOW! A true Italian restaurant! Finally! Fort Lauderdale is so lucky to have this gem! Every dish we ordered was delicious, homemade, and the most important ingredient: LOVE is prevalent in everything! Biting into the Slow Braised Beef Ravioli, I DIED and went to heaven! Just melt in your mouth deliciousness. The homemade potato Gnocchi was done perfectly! Not to chewy like some other restaurants calling themselves good Italian food... This was bang on! And the truffle mushroom cream sauce polenta was incomparable! What a treat! The service was a 10 star! The atmosphere (near the water-tucked away in a charming plaza) was so great! We will definitely be back!

We dined here on a recent trip to Fort Lauderdale and I was very impressed with the restaurant! Located in a quaint, historic-looking strip mall, the atmosphere gives off a comfortable, relaxed vibe. We opted to sit outside and enjoy the South Florida air. Even without reservations on a Sunday evening, we were seated immediately. We started off with the Calamari Grigliati, which is grilled calamari steak served with arugula salad, cherry tomatoes, topped with lemon dressing. The calamari was lightly seasoned and a bit charred from grilling. Combined with the arugula and the tangy lemon dressing, it was a perfect mix of a slightly bitter, lightly peppered, tangy infusion. It was superb and actually turned out to be my favorite part of the meal. For my entree, I ordered one of my favorites, the Rigatoni Amatriciana. The sauce itself was very delicious, but I barely finished my meal because the pasta was slightly too al dente, so much so that I had trouble really enjoying the dish. I'm going to assume this was perhaps and off-batch and I would gladly return to try to another pasta dish in the future. Service was flawless! This place is definitely worth a try! Order the calamari, you won't regret it!

I was VERY happy with this meal, location, and restaurant choice! So, I was a little hungover from the long night before, albeit it was 7 pm at night and I really needed Italian food. Like needed, needed... or I might die. Friend and I decided to be adventuresome head to this section of town, park, and find a place to eat. PS I did not drive I was still too woozie to attempt such a feat! It was very busy when we arrived, partly why we picked it, and we didn't have a rez (you might want to make one) after couple mins we were told they could squeeze us in outside, PERFECT, it's Jan in South Florida, outside works marvelously! Ordered a bottle of wine (b/c again I had to hair of the dog it at 8 pm at night), shared a salad, and noshed on some bread. Waiter was definitely off the boat Italian, fine by me! He told us the specials and he had me at--Truffle-- anytime something has Truffle (as long as it's not mushrooms or Salmon-I'm in!). This was a Truffle Cream Sauce on top of homemade Spaghetti with Sausage! Oh HELL yes! #fatgirlclap The spaghetti was thick and chewy, slightly curvy it was amazing. I covered it in cheese and wolfed down every single bite. I will say I felt like an episode of woman vs. food afterwards but I won dammit and that's all that matters. Can't wait to go back and eat that again! DEF get the homemade pasta!

Delicious authentic Italian food! Truffle cream sauces are great. We got buffalo mozzarella appetizer which was a very large but delicious portion.

The meal my husband and I enjoyed at The Dolce Vita was one of the most delicious I've ever had. We called ahead to book a table outside (we had tried to eat there the night before but it was booked). The table setting was very pretty and comfortable. Our waiter recommended a white Italian wine. The meals sounded very filling so we decided to share everything. Our appetizer was a prosciutto and argula salad with mozzarella cheese and cherry tomatoes. The prosciutto was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Next we had homemade spaghetti with lamb ragu with some parmesan cheese. Fabulous. For our meat course, we ordered a veal chop that was cooked to perfection with roasted eggplant and parmesan potatoes. We ended with a demitasse of espresso but we had no room for dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any Italian food lover.

The best meal I have had this year thanks Chris the raised beef ravioli best I have ever had the homemade spaghetti with amatreciana was heavenly. Staff Allison was knowledgeable and attentive this is my new favorite local spot.
(5)Robert W.
This place is a gem! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there. We sat outside and the experience on a whole was perfect! The food was amazing and the staff was right on! The food is proper Italian food, fresh and home made. The flavors are bang on! I will totally recommend them to friends.
(5)Debbie D.
Authentic Italians and authentic Italian. We really enjoyed the service and food. We were warmly welcomed for a late dinner. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Added points for being Sicilian and having another restaurant in Catania; where my grandparents are from. The bread was served fresh and warm. We had an eggplant parmigiana with plenty of warm, melted cheese and a beautifully prepared pasta with lamb. I love my food served hot and they delivered on this account too. Would love to have had dessert as we saw a dark chocolate mousse but we were full. The restaurant overall was very cozy and the music very nice.
(5)Bunny M.
My husband and I ate at La Doce Vita last night and couldn't wait to give a review on how great this place was. We received a warm and friendly greeting. Our waitress, Allison, was very pleasant and helpful. The burata was smooth and creamy served over a bed of arugula with cherry tomatoes. The garden salad with lemon dressing was crisp and fresh. The large serving of the soup special, lentil soup, was served piping hot; as soups should be. The spaghetti lamb ragu was flavorful and was generous enough for the both of us to share. We definitely will be back the next time we come to Fort Lauderdale.
(5)Kevin T.
Great restaurant. We come here once a year when we visit Ft. Lauderdale. The food is amazing, homemade pastas, great wines and wonderful desserts. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely a great place. My wife and I went on Tuesday evening after arriving on our flight from London. It was such a treat to experience the restaurant and know that it hasn't changed at all from the previous year we were there. It was busy as well for a Tuesday evening. Great to see this restaurant is doing so well - I can certainly understand why it is - simple, fresh, delightful ingredients combined with friendly, educational and personable service. We remain loyal fans!

Very close to our hotel (Il Lugano), we walked over for our 7:30 reservations. Moderately full, actually was impressed as it was a Wednesday night. Server came out with a crazy thick Italian accent.....so far so good. Somewhat limited menu, but that was ok. Here is what we had * Burrata and Prosciutto appetizer ($20). Was very good, but I have had better at another authentic restaurant not too far away. We thought that the plate of cheese was actually too big, especially for two. What I would prefer to see is a scaled down version of this for less price. Also, the prosciutto to cheese balance was a bit off (too much cheese) Came with cherry tomatoes which were Delicious. * Two salads. $8. To be honest we didn't' need them after the appetizer which had greens and the tomatoes. But we already ordered. * Rigatoni Amatriciana: Now this is a favorite dish at that aforementioned pasta place I mentioned up above. They are very authentic too (take off for all of August to go back to Italy). At first bite I said the other place was better. As I went deeper dive into the pasta meal, I found myself liking it very, very much...it was just different than the other place. But it was delicious. The service was great. I didn't catch his name, but our server was awesome. One thing I really liked it his never gave us the check, at least not with us asking for it. Reminded of restaurants in Italy......nice touch. Overall I would love to go back.
(4)Eryn I.
I would say it was mehhhhhh! The muscles were tiny but the sauce was ok. Good to dip their mehhh bread in. The dinner (i had the salmon and my husband had the sea bass) was fair at best. My husbands sea bass was 100% over cooked and burnt, they debone it at he table. Which...ok fine...still burnt and over cooked. My salmon was overly common for $24. The desert, honestly, was the best part. Which kinda sucks cause I was looking for a superior meal considering the previous reviews. So, in all, Mehhhh I wont be back.
(3)Josephine F.
Best Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale ( I am Italian). All the dishes are delicious and the service is great.
(5)Andy C.
Authentic Italian. Not American Italian....fresh, simple, and tasty foods. Worth splurging and getting a pasta dish or two. I had the steak. It was perfectly cooked with a nice arugula salad on the side. Bone up on your Italian before you go, these guys are for real.
(5)Natalia C.
My fiance and I love authentic Italian food. We've tried many restaurants in South Florida and have liked bits and pieces of each. La Dolce Vita is the real deal when it comes to authentic italian dining. We came for dinner - finding the place by just exploring the area. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, especially with being warmly greeted with a thick Italian accent. It only gets better from here. I told our server what I preferred in my wines, bold, heavy-bodied flavor and he delivered. I need to go back to remember the name. For our first plate we started with the cuttlefish in a tomato broth. Came out super hot (which I love) and flavors of tomato and garlic surrounded us. Delicious! Highly suggest, especially since it's really hard to find a well made cuttlefish in our area. Second course we split the chitarrina tartufo nero & porcini - AMAZING! Homemade spaghetti with black truffle cream sauce & porcini mushrooms. Full of flavor that will have you licking the plate when you're done. I shamelessly used the remainder of our bread to get every last bit. If you get full fast, make this plate the one you get. Savory, luscious and will leave you smiling and your heart warm. For the last plate we ordered the branzino. This we've had all over Italy and always hold high expectations when in the US. La Dolce Vita came very close to this. De-boned tableside, they don't overwhelm the fish as most other restaurants do but I feel it could've used a bit more salt to enhance the fish's flavor. The fish came with a small salad and very well made potatoes. Dessert I ordered tiramisu and my fiance had the berry tart. His was delicious. I stared at it wanting more after my first bite. My tiramisu was good but definitely feel this was made same day. You always want tiramisu after it's sat for a day or two - my opinion at least. We were able to speak with the owner/manager and was a real treat to see and hear the passion in his voice for his restaurant. He spends a few months out of the year in Italy and brings back a true taste of it to La Dolce Vita. We're beyond happy we've found this little slice of heaven and very much look forward to our next visit.
(5)Jeff S.
The service was outstanding, servers were genuine and authentic. Atmosphere was quint and romantic while we dined alfresco in a quite side street in the city. Food on the other hand, certainly not worth the price for the experience. The house dish, La Dolce Vita, tasted bland with the seafood totally overcooked. My girlfriends dish, parmesan encrusted chicken, was absolutely terrible, burnt so bad that she could not finish it. Sorry to say, I could have probably done a better job- which is sad to say. For nearly a $100 tab, ya.....never again. Recommend Bravo on 17th St as the BEST Italian restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale- hands down.
(1)Lisa T.
What a great night! We arrived at La Dolce Vita from wonderful Yelp reviews and you guys were right! We sat outside, even though everyone thought we were crazy in the Florida heat, but it was very comfortable and cozy on the quaint street. The staff was so attentive and talkative, inquiring where we were from and telling us menu favorites. The food was outstanding, (being from NY where italian food is everywhere) the food stood out. The appetizers were delicious and big enough to share (4 people). We all had pasta, all cooked al dente with great sauces and flavors. Best of all, they gave is complimentary dessert, who doesn't love that?! Go there, you won't be disappointed!
(4)Christine D.
I do not really understand how people have rated this restaurant so generously. The wait staff was friendly, but the food was just mediocre. We ordered mussels and polenta for appetizers which were good but the polenta seemed to have been microwaved. For main dishes, 3 of us had fish and one had grilled calamari steak. The bronzino fish were frozen and im sorry but for $36 a plate, if you aren't going to serve vegetable caponata as advertised on the menu, at least give customers the option to choose their sides rather then throwing some basic salad and basic bland potatoes on the plate. The grilled calamari steak was so bland as well---amen for salt on the table. We also asked our server for a semi-sweet sparkling wine and he brought us out a bottle of liquid candy. Idk what the thrill is with all these other reviews, but clearly people haven't gone to real Italian restaurants.

We came for our 22nd blissful anniversary. The meal, atmosphere, and food was fantastic Great friendly service. Best in Fort Lauderdale Highly recommended for an enjoyable evening out for any occasion
(5)Mike S.
I don't think I've ever given a 5 star review. I'm usually really picky, but had no complaints at La Dolce Vita tonight. The combination of food and service was impeccable, and the staff (Allison especially) had a knack for coming to the table exactly when we wanted. The food was simply outstanding. From the arugula salad with possibly the best sun dried tomatoes I've ever had, to the braised beef ravioli (exactly what you look for in braised, falling-apart meat in a stuffed pasta) and rigatoni carbonara (smoky from the pancetta and delicious), to the cream puff pastry in chocolate mousse dessert, each dish was a serious contender for best on the night. Wash it all down with a great bottle of wine, and you're only spending $100? Damn good.
(5)Anu M.
We made reservations for dinner on Thanksgiving Day! When we arrived at 7pm, there was just one another family dining here. But as time went by, all the tables were full with patrons. We were courteously greeted in Italian when we arrived and were seated immediately. Here is what we ordered: Mushroom Polenta - Very tasy Gnocchi - Just okay Three chocolate mousse - Tasty I somehow thought it was a casual dining and went in casual clothes. But the restaurant leans towards fine dining. Service is very very friendly. Highly recommend the restaurant.
(4)Alex W.
Best pasta on the beach !! and the service is perfection, I love the fact that is actual Italians serving and cooking that is why the food is so great !
(5)Sarah P.
The food has a depth and soul to its flavor that you can just tell someone in the kitchen cares about what they're serving. The waiters are from Italy and add to the experience. This place is just plain good. If you're looking for Americanized Italian food (ie, chicken parm, etc) this is not the spot. But for a great dining experience with genuinely prepared food, I highly recommend. There's a cute wine bar right next door you can go to before or after to make a night of the experience.

After a long day of shopping and playing on the beach, we had a wonderful Italian dinner at a Doce Vita in Fort Lauderdale. The food absolutely delicious and reminded me of the Italian restaurants of San Francisco in the 1970s (the contemporary Italian restaurants of SF are sad imitations of their rich predecessors). The food was authentic, simple and fantastic. The staff and most of the patrons tonight were from Italy. We even spoke to another patron who told us of his love for this place and that he comes in as often as possible, and he lives in Montreal. The staff were so friendly. The owner, Fabio, waited on us, poured us water, and told us the story of his restaurants in Italy and Florida. Everything was home made and tasted like it. Zoe's gnocci was excellent, and my rigatoni amatriciana was wonderful. The Tiramisu was unbelievable, and Pana cotte was even better. Fabio said that he was considering opening a new store in California. We sure hope he does, we will be his first customers. Perfect start to a great vacation. ladolcevitaflorida.com/G…

After hearing "the best Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale" I had to try it and it definitely held up to its name. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Authentic Italian cuisine with a great ambience.
(5)Ron L.
Always on top of their game. Consistently good quality food. Attentive waiters. Can get crowded at times in season but there usually is space for dining outside. The La Dolce Vita entree is superb.
(4)Marian S.
I'm eaten here 3 times and have to stop myself from going every day. It's like a dinner in Italy complete with homemade pasta. Fish is fresh and subtlety favored. My favorite dishes are Pasta La Dolce Vita ( pasta with seafood) and the bronzino. The staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. You can't go wrong.
(5)Tamar K.
I ate here at least four times, maybe even more... It's an amazing place, in an amazing location with amazing food and service! If you want Italian cuisine I highly recommend this place. Their food is excellent, their staff is always lovely, Italian music in the background, a glass of wine, delicious pasta and you almost believe you are in Rome itself! After dinner you can have a more serious drink in the bars around the restaurant...
(5)Bruce S.
My wife Dianne and I first went to La Dolce Vita at the suggestion of her son Chris. We immediately made to feel welcome by owners Christian and Fabio. Our meals were so delicious we asked to meet the chef Renaldo. He was kind enough to come out and spend a few minutes talking to us and to Chris who is a chef departee at Blue Moon Fish Co. Tonight Dianne and I went back again and Christian and Fabio remembered us! The food again was excellent and the service extraordinary. Thank you Fabio, Christian, Christian & Renaldo. We will be back when we return in January.

The best real italian food restaurant in ft. Lauderdale.homemade pasta, & variety of dishes, that makes you feel like you're in ltaly. The setting is quaint ,w/indoor or outdoor dining.. A real jewel for a romantic evening. Exceptional selection of food and specialty dishes. Guaranteed to bring you back...We loved it...
(5)Alexandra S.
Great, authentic Italian restaurant with genuine personality. My boyfriend and I went last night in need to fulfill a craving for a real pasta dish. We sat outside and were immediately served. I ordered the spaghetti (homemade - no joke) carbonara with pancetta -not ham, my boyfriend had the steak diane. Both were delicious, perfectly cooked portions. The only thing I can say is the steak didn't come with potatoes or pasta side dish which is how the Italians do, but should've mentioned when ordering as accustomed to a side dish included. However, we were both so full we didn't order desert, only a cappucino but the server brought us a small piece of homemade amazing tiramasu just because. Great service! Cannot wait to go back and try every dish! Highly recommend, great date night place or for those seeking the complete opposite of Olive Garden.

This was by far THE best Italian meal I have ever had! First, the artichoke tower was absolutely delicious, warm with parmesan and garlic. I've never had anything like it. My friends ordered fresh ravioli, one with tomato sauce and parmesan, the other with the black truffle cream sauce. Both were amazing but not as incredible as the veal chop with mushrooms and black truffle cream sauce. It was truly devine, I could not stop eating! Each bite made me feel like it was my birthday, like we had to be celebrating some event, not just having dinner with friends. To top it off Fabio, one of the owners was charming, inviting and was thoughtful helping us pick out just the right bottle of wine, which turned out to be a delightful Montepulciano d'Bruzzo. To finish off the most wonderful meal was decadent creme brulee, light and lovely Tiramisu and and a raspberry tart with vanilla ice cream. I can't wait to bring people I love to this unbelievable restaurant. This was true blue, authentic, OMG italian fare. Don't miss out on this culinary escape!! Thank you to Fabio and the rest of the wonderful staff!! See you soon!

i just recently visited Italy, great food! dahhhh :) now that's a place in my hood, that is as good as in Italy! simple, cozy, relaxing atmosphere. the polenta is out of this world!

Pretty pricey but worth it...
(4)Gia A.
The most authentic, delicious Italian dishes I've ever encountered in FL. First off, the staff is beyond personable and friendly. There's a great homey feel that is warm and welcoming. Every pasta dish is homemade and all of the sauces are beyond flavorful. I was told there was basically no use in ever ordering gnocchi at any other restaurant because they will never come close to Dolce Vita's dish. Melt in your mouth good! A definite must, and I recommend making reservations.
(5)Andy S.
Had great evening here. Wonderful service, authentic Italian food, and nice ambiance on a trendy block. The servers were incredibly polite, and one of the owners and the chef also came out to talk to us. These people are passionate about their food, and it is well worth a visit... and unlike some of the other reviewers, I wouldn't say this was particularly expensive. Meat dishes low 20s, pastas high teens. Everything well worth it. Will be back.
(5)Nina C.
Everything her was a party in my mouth!!!! The polenta with truffle oil was the best I've ever had!! And I love that everything on the menu is basically made with truffle oil!!! The pasta, the wine, the service, the salads, everything was amazing, but like I said the polenta was the most amazing thing I've put in my mouth in a long long long time!!!!!!
(5)C. K.
This is truly an excellent place to go for authentic Italian food! You feel like you are in Rome as all the waitstaff are from Italy. We had the grilled polenta with black truffle cream sauce and it was heavenly. Someone else quoted that it was a party in your mouth and I would have to agree! The homemade gnocchi served with the wild mushroom cream sauce was probably the best gnocchi I have eaten. The parmesan crusted veal chop was also delicious. They had a nice variety of fish dishes and I would definitely come back and try one of those next time! The atmosphere is nice small and quaint. They had a nice wine selection and the service was excellent.
(5)Tina F.
Outstanding service. Authentic Italian cuisine served by attentive staff. We ate the branzino and truffle ravioli which were savory and delicious. The tiramisu was perfection...delicate and fresh.

We were looking for a Mexican and stumbled across this Italian Resturant. Wine was great and so was my sons pasta. I had steak but for the price they could have added some potatoes or pasta instead of just salad. My wife had the fish special however it was badly burnt. She was so hungry she ate the edible portion however after we pointed this out to our waiter he should have taken it off the bill but he didn't. We got a couple of dessert but my son was not even asked if he wanted one. Service is not that great nor is the food that special for the price we paid. Recommend that the Resturant pay more attention to the food they serve. Wouldn't consider going back.

I should begin by saying that while we enjoy Italian food from time to time, it is not something that we crave or choose often. That having been said, if we lived in Ft. Lauderdale, we would eat here weekly. We stumbled upon this place while on vacation (thank you Yelp!). We had the Polenta as an appetizer and it would be an understatement to say "it was good". It was amazing. My husband had the Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, which is a more delicious, adult version of Spaghetti O's. The creamy tomato sauce reminded us both of this childhood staple, except it was homemade and not disgusting! I had the Ravioli Al Funghi Tartufati, which was rich, creamy, perfectly cooked, and painfully good. I say painfully because I ate so much I was miserable for hours afterward, but I wouldn't change a thing! Eat here, you will be glad you did.

What a fabulous addition to this corner of Galt Ocean mile. In a cozy atmosphere, the dishy manager, waiters, chef turn out exquisitely prepared food and friendly, attentive service with an Italian accent. The pasta is really like nothing I've encountered in the area and the seafood dishes are authentic and scrumptious. I started with the world's best prosciutto (my hyperbole, not theirs) which served as a bed for soft, creamy burrata (cheese). With its custard like texture and comforting taste, I could eat that stuff every day. The prosciutto had the requisite salt and tang, but was extraordinarily tender, unlike the shoe leather served in neighboring restaurants. The main course--spaghetti a la vongole (al dente pasta with teeny, briny clams) was beyond belief. The careful preparation and the freshness of the pasta and clams elevated this admittedly simple dish to superstar status. I also had a few bites of a similar dish with mussels and shrimp and while the seasoning was subtly different, was also divine. Nicely chosen wine list and even a rather inviting bar. Unfortunately, I had stupidly stopped into the Chart House for an uninspired glass of wine before making my way to La Dolce Vita, so I did not hang out at the bar before my meal--next time. Crunchy shell canoli with the most indulgent and rich filling completed my ethereal meal. Friggin adorable waiter from Milan, handsome manager (or owner, I forget..I was too busy staring at him to focus on what he said to me) from Rome (where else...sigh)and the chef was so beautifully Italian it seemed he had stepped out of central casting. My god, I hope these good looking guys make it. La Dolce Vita lives up to its name!

La Dolce Vita is superb. We've been there about a half dozen times now, sometimes with friends. I grew up in Italy, my wife and the one of the friends are European. All of us are pretty good cooks, travel to Europe to eat every year and have the means to dine out frequently. There are some good Italian restaurants in Broward but this is the only authentic Italian place we know of. The meals are simple, the sauces superb, the ingredients superb, the cooking superb. First, the cooking is not your typical American Italian sloshed in tomato sauce pasta. Many, if not all of the pastas are done there and fresh. No cream sauces. No tomato paste sauces. The fish, meat and poultry are all superb both in the ingredients and the cooking. You get cooking as is done in Italy down to the cuts and textures of the meats, simple yet refined. The lunch menu is a bit lean but everything on it that we've tried (about half the menu) is excellent. The dinner menu is a treat and has well prepared gems all over the place. The wine list is quite good and priced right. Service is excellent, the atmosphere is nothing to die for but it's nice. Acoustics appear quite good as we think it's quiet. An update: No more lunch as business has been too good. Make reservations as it fills up and its common to see people get turned away.

My fav Italian restaurant in town. Always received with a warm welcome and a delicious meal. Love it..
(5)Jordan V.
Chris the waiter is amazing. And the food even more so. I never thought I'd find a piece of Italy in Ft. Lauderdale, but I did. You must eat here and try the homemade gnocchi.
(5)Marisa G.
We had the Trout special, Seafood and homemade pasta, Rigatoni, Spinach and Egg Soup, and Tiramisu. Everything was wonderful and carefully prepared. Cafe Latte was the real thing. Italian food was just like I had in Italy. Not cheap food but cheaper than a flight to Rome.
(5)Leawood B.
Omg omg omg. The first pasta that tastes just like home made pasta. The mushroom stuffed ravioli with white sauce and the gnoochis were divine. And the owners and staff are delightful . We sat at the bar and had a great time. You must go!!
(5)Cindi C.
My husband frowned on my decision to choose a restaurant from Yelp, as our last experience was not so great. But I insisted, and we were both so pleased. Small, cozy place with sidewalk seating available. Ample staff to make sure all of your needs are met. We ordered polenta with sausage for an appetizer, and the tomato sauce was THE freshest I've ever been served. Based on that, I actually ordered lasagna (which I never order at restaurants any more because I'm disappointed) and it was phenomenal! We were not rushed, service was perfect, wine choices plentiful.
(5)LC B.
Maybe we caught it on an off night, but I was not impressed! My husband and I agree that the staff is attentive, but the food is average. They started with a bread basket, nothing special, no butter with it, although you had bland olive oil on the table if you wanted to dip your bread in oil. The salads were good, but nothing amazing. I ordered the Rigatoni, but I didn't want the pancetta in it. . My dish arrived with extra firm noodles covered in red sauce...and that's all. No onions with it like the menu said, and nothing else substituted for the pancetta (i.e. like another vegetable). For $18.00/plate, I expected a lot better food (and presentation). This looked like something my 10 year old could make at home with noodles and a can of Ragu. When I mentioned it to my waiter, he seemed embarrassed and said he could ask the chef for a side order of vegetables to go with the pasta. We ordered creme brulee to split for dessert. It arrived cold (not warm like we usually have), and you could tell it was a pre-made dessert. Geez, couldn't they have thrown it in the oven for at least 2 minutes to warm it! We were pretty disappointed with La Dolce Vita after reading all the great reviews and we won't be back. For the same price and much better food, we'll stick with Villagio in Boca Raton's Mizner Park.
(2)Tim C.
It has a old school feel the service was fantastic and the pasta was great but the sauce well it reminded me of chef Boyar Dee.
(4)Steve D.
Just had two dinners here during our 4-day stay in FL. So good the first time, we had to go back! Allison took great care of us and the food - the best outside Italy!
(4)Kristen D.
This is my go to place when I am in Fort Lauderdale! The owners are amazing and have very special food and wine. True Italians make this very authentic and very yummy! You can't beat this place! Everything is great especially the gnocchi!
(5)Duane R.
This place is incredible. They have Italian waiters who know the menu and the wine list. I have been there in many occasions and have been satisfied every time.
(5)Ivette C.
Omg, this Italian restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and the service is stupendible. The pasta is made inhouse and everything is fresh. No other restaurant comes close to their quality of food.
(5)Linda T.
Went here for an anniversary dinner. The food was fabulous and the service was just as good. We will definitely be back and have already recommended this place to many people.
(5)Marqus R.
La Dolce Vita is one of Fort Lauderdale's better Italian restaurants located in a rather nice setting in a quiet area of NE 33rd Street. The food is definitely authentic Italian and though not all that innovative, definitely prepared from the ground on up using the very finest as well as freshest of ingredients. The wait staff, all Italian, are clearly professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Though a casual place it's classy having both a nice indoor setting along with several sidewalk outdoor cafe type tables. The menu and wine lists are complete without being overly extensive, having a clear concentration upon quality.
(4)Patti K.
This place was super legit Italian. Homemade pasta, friendly staff, fast service and get wine selection. You can hardly understand the servers because of their heavy Italian accents. Really felt like we were in Italy!
(4)Michael A.
My friends and I found this place by accident. It was the best accident ever. High class service and menu.
(5)Jessica B.
Wow! Just had an amazing dinner at La Dolce Vita. The ambience is charming and romantic and the service is with old world, traditional European flair - very attentive and helpful without rushing through each course. The zucchini appetizer was so good, and the sauce was perfect for dipping the fresh Italian bread in. I had the mushroom raviolis which are house made and had just the right amount of truffle oil. My friend had the homemade gnocchi and loved it. We were so full so we declined dessert and while we chatted for just a bit after our meal, our handsome server brought out a white chocolate mousse with raspberry coulis (don't remember the Italian name for it) which was so divine that we felt bad for leaving a few bites left on the plate. Terrific dining experience - can't wait to return!
(5)Andrea L.
Best Italian restaurant in town! Try the truffle and mushroom pasta or the ball of mozzarella. Service is excellent and all the waiters speak Italian--feels like you're in Italy!
(5)Mirka S.
Another great night at La Dolce Vita! Hands down our favorite restaurant!!! We took our friends here and they loved it!
(5)Douglas D.
What a pleasant little restaurant. The staff was very cheery, helpful and attentive. Food was excellent and authentic. I had branzino which was very simply prepared but awesome. My wife had homemade pasta with seafood. It was also delicious. We will be back for sure.
(5)Kevin H.
Delicious and not a long wait for 3 without reservation. The truffle polenta app was incredible and lasagna meted in my mouth. Excellent service, good wine. Looking forward to next visit!
(5)Nina W.
So this Saturday night my fiancé and I decided to not go to our regular Italian restaurant. Which we love, And decided to get out the neighborhood and try something new.So of course me being the yelper that I am found this restaurant which had very high remarks, and I'm still trying to figure out why? I will say the service was great, ambiance not so nice and food even worst. My fiancé got so sick just 15 minutes after we left the restaurant so my advice is to stay away from this place.
(1)Michelle C.
Great, friendly service and amazing food. A few tables for outside dining. Restaurant is cute inside.
(5)D P.
Tonight I miss my mom (100% pure old style home made Italian meals) a little less. Priceless!!
(5)Charlotte C.
Everything is so so good here. You can't order anything wrong here. The owner of the restaurant, Fabio is supper nice, he will personlly bring you water to your table and greet you. Don't forget to order the desert too.
(5)Brian D.
The service, food and location were all excellent. No issues whatsoever and the price was great too. Everything they brought was better than the last dish.
(5)Kate B.
Our first time. Loved it!! From the time we walked in until we left, great atmosphere, wonderful people and delicious food. We will be back
(5)Bill F.
Excellent food, awesome service, great atmosphere and truly a little bit of Italy hidden in this Gem of a place. I've been walking by this area for over a year and finally stopped in last night after moving close by. Quickly greeted by three very pleasant servers offered us a seat wherever we wanted. In broken English they did a great job explaining the menu and starting us off just right. We chose outside on this beautiful night, and glad we did. Soon after we were greeted by the owner himself. Fabio, telling us a little about himself and just three years here straight from Abruzzo Italy when he purchased the place. Immediately we knew we were in for a special treat and great food. Sometimes you just know you picked a winner. Having just been a judge the night before for a charity event with 5 local restaurants and top chefs, I myself get to meet many chefs and experience many great places and food. Trust me. This one will not disappoint. I highly recommend it.
(5)Ron B.
Ron - Bethpage, N.Y. Was riding around looking for an attractive restaurant when we spotted this place. Had a steak Diane and my wife had a seafood pasta dish. My steak was absolutely so tasty and her dish was also excellent. We had a homemade fruit tart for dessert that was incredible. This was probably the best Italian food I've ever had in Florida. I even went back alone a few days later after she went home. Christian is a personable and caring host. He really put his love into what he serves.
(5)Kristin C.
We had the lasagna and were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance and service were good. I think we might be back especially since it's across the street from Blue Jeans has great live music.
(4)Shailesh A.
I give it 5 stars because of the good food and great service. We went there as a group ( 6 adults and 2 kids). We were in Fort Lauderdale for the long weekend. We decided to go to La Dolce Vita after reading reviews. We reached at about 8:00 pm. The hostess and the waiter were happy to seat us outside upon our request. For appetizers we ordered the polenta, eggplant and greens. Everything was good but the polenta was out of this world. For our main course we ordered the bass, salmon, home made gnocchi and the chicken. Everything was fresh, very tasty. For dessert we ordered the panna cotta and the tiramisu. The host was kind enough to also bring their tripple chocolate cake on the house. By this time we were completely full but we could not sop eating the desserts. The panna cotta was the best I have had. Overall food: A Service was very prompt. But the best part was waiter engaged us to give us a great and memorable experience. He asked us where we were from, told us a story about how his grandmother used to make gnocchi in Italy, etc. By the time we were done with dinner, we were the only ones in the restaurant and it was probably time to for them to close. But they never rushed or made use feel that we had to leave. They were happy to serve us and chat with us. Overall Service: A+ I would recommend everyone this restaurant.

Best Italian! My wife is Italian. My mother in law is Italian. I live and breath Italian cuisine. No offense to my mother in law, but this is the best Italian I have ever had ! I had the "La Dolce Vita." The seafood was excellently prepared. The shrimp were tender and sweet. The mussels and clams were succulent and fresh. To top it all off, the spaghetti was the best I have ever had. If the meal wasn't enough, the owner, Fabio, was fantastic! My wife and I are visiting from New Jersey. I can't wait to eat here the next 3 nights!
(5)E P.
Friends recommended this restaurant and said that we had to try it... glad we listened! Hands down one of the best Italian meals we have eaten to date, any where. La Dolce Vita for sure ranks at the top for Italian food. First off, looks can be deceiving, because the outside and interior of the restaurant are humble. It's a nice enough looking restaurant, just not a hip or fancy place. But it does not matter, the food is great. What is impressive is the food and service. The evening we visited, one of the owners took care of us. He and his partners are from Italy. It was very clear that he was proud of what was coming out of his kitchen- so we basically put our evening in his hands and asked him for his recommendations throughout the entire meal- food and wine. One hit after the next. I encourage everyone to go.
(5)Paul A.
Oh man my mouth is watering as I write this review thinking about the food that I ate here. The food here is so simple and fresh yet soooo good. Some of the best I ever had. I can not wait until the next time I am in town. The veal chop is calling my name.
(5)Saveria A.
Wonderful bunch of guys! Welcome to the US! Please eat here!! Food is amazing! Wine was amazing Great ambiance Thanks Dolce Vita for a great night and a great dinner!

A real slice of Italy in Ft. Lauderdale. Food was excellent. Attention to detail, service and passion were evident. Owner took the time to speak with all guests and share his love of traditional Italian cooking. Started with crodo & buratta app. This was the best tasting prosciutto & buratta imported from Italy I have had outside of NYC. Also had the zucchini parmigiana app with a light perfectly balanced tomato and fresh basil marinara sauce. Main courses consisted of homemade gnocchi which were light & tasty, mushroom ravioli had a delicate cream sauce that did not over power, and the winner was the homemade spaghetti with black truffle oil cream sauce with porchini mushrooms. All dishes went well with the #661 wine, a nice medium body red with a slight earthy note with light berry cherry undertone. Dessert was decadent. Again all homemade. Chocolate soufflé if you need a fix, if you like tiramisu this one is for you. Owner comped our group the fresh berry tarte and thank goodness he did it was awesome.
(5)Carolina A.
One of my favorite restaurants! The Polenta al Tartufo (Truffle Polenta) is a MUST. The pasta dishes are delicious and texture of the pasta is perfect... Never found another restaurant with such outstanding pasta. The sauces are not greasy or heavy, they are very light and full of flavor. The service is great and everyone is super friendly.
(5)Genie P.
All is not as perfect as these Yelp reviews would seem to indicate. Yes, the waiters are Italian, and yes the pastas are homemade and fresh tasting. But...when a perfectly marvelous pasta special (pumpkin filled ravioli) is drenched in tomato sauce, there's a disconnect. Sauce, superb. Ravioli,superb...but together? NO, No, No! Take note, Chef...a buttery sage for the Ravioli, please!!! Also, to characterize this restaurant as moderately priced is misleading. We spent close to $100. For a shared salad, two entrees and two glasses of wine. Moderate??? You decide.
(2)Mariam D.
A beautiful evening to dine al fresco and enjoy the friendly, attentive service that this Italian venue offers. A nice wine list, we started with a bottle and the Polenta appetizer. This was my first try of polenta, and it was excellent. Blended with corn and covered in a light creamy truffle sauce with mushrooms, every bite was delicioso. My entree, the Octopus Carpaccio was on special this evening, and every bite was fresh from the sea delighted my palate. The filet was on special too and prepared to perfection, covered in a creamy sauce and served with a leafy variety of broccoli on the side. A salmon with goat cheese ravioli was also on special this evening, and I would give it a try on perhaps another visit to this quaint spot in the heart of NOBE. The warm chocolate souffle a la mode with a drizzle of raspberry sauce was a sweet grand finale. Just Yelping about it makes me want more. The perfect place for a date night or dinner with distinction. Grazie!
(4)Elisa G.
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place the other night and were very impressed. We shared the arugula salad with the most amazing sun dried tomatoes I've ever had. I enjoyed the mushroom risotto which was outstanding and my boyfriend ordered the braised brisket ravioli which was also delicious! We were originally planning to go so the French place across the street, but they were closed for summer vacation! Lucky for us we discover a new local gem. Can't wait to go back to try more of what their menu offers. :-)
(5)Tim S.
Surprisingly good food... A little expensive but worth the price. Staff speaks Italian and the food is modern Italian. We had the special of the day which was filet mignon - perfectly cooked. Highly recommend.
(4)Chris S.
The best service I've ever had in a restaurant. Hands down. The owner was our server and was a blast to talk to and have great recommendations based upon what we liked and were looking for rather than based on price. I made the decision to eat while walking past. I will PLAN on coming back next time.
(5)E D.
Handmade pasta here is exceptionally good, with a selection of wines by the glass that's way above average. The tiramisu and cappuccino were right up there with five-star restaurants in Chicago or New York. It's an unassuming spot that could use a little more work on its atmosphere, but definitely a neighborhood gem.
(4)G W.
I stopped by last month solo and sat at the bar. Met the owner. A young lady served me. The risotto was perfect. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine that the owner recommended and opened for me. Delicious! Excellent, and I mean excellent service. Very highly recommended. If I were a local I'd eat here all the time:-) What more can I say!
(5)Monica R.
Food and service were excellent. Eggplant app was tasty. Polenta with truffle and mixed mushrooms was good too. Entrees were good which included the roasted salmon, the gnocchi bolognese and the beef filled ravioli. We look forward to going back. Panna cotta for dessert was great.
(4)Bob R.
Just moved to the neighborhood from Manhattan and decided to give this place a try based on proximity, as it is walking distance. What a pleasure, food was excellent (Sea Bass special and Rigatoni w/ Pancetta and Onions were the two entrees) salad was great and the bread amazing. The owner and wait staff were very attentive in a genuine way, wine list was excellent and dessert was amazing (raspberries and panacotta sp.?) you feel transported back to Italy ... what a find ... very nice and I will certainly be back for more.
(5)David H.
This is the real deal....zuppe de pesce is almost as good as Damianis in Naples....most clients are Italian and the staff hardly speaks English....hard to go wrong here....romantic
(4)Patricia M.
Have to add another glowing review to the many here. When we visited last year, we ate inside and loved the atmosphere. It reminded me of my father's family...I find Italians to be warm and demonstrative....much laughter in the air. Plus, the food was incredible, so of course we returned this year. Sat outside in the gentle night air, which just added to the enjoyment. Our waiter was personable, efficient, but with a wry sense of humor which we appreciated. The three of us had very different dishes. My sister loved her seafood salad, which was a special appetizer, but was large enough to be an entree. My husband had the incredibly delicious risotto with mushrooms, and my special was the heavenly osso bucco, which sat on a bed of risotto. It's very obvious that everything on the menu is made with care and fresh, quality ingredients.
